Mersen to join ETIM North America

ETIM North America announced that Mersen joined the product classification standards organization.

Mersen is joining other industry leaders including ABB, Eaton, Legrand, Appleton Group, Schneider, and Siemens as they build out the ETIM classification model to meet the terminology and product specific needs of the North American electrical industry.

ETIM North America (NA) is responsible for supporting the implementation and adoption of the ETIM Technical Information Model (ETIM) in the North American wholesale electrical industry, and associated verticals. ETIM is a format to share and exchange product data based on taxonomic identification.
