WHY MERSEN WAS CHOSEN

A leading, global manufacturer of specialized pharmaceutical products contacted Mersen due to a corrosion issue they were experiencing with a new product they were manufacturing. The company was initially considering Mersen to supply only the equipment; Graphite columns and PTFE lined piping for their new product. After meeting with Mersen engineers, they became aware of Mersen’s ability to design and build a complete turn key system to remedy their corrosion issues.  

Pharmaceutical companies typically require skidded systems that include:

  • the equipment
  • the process and control design
  • skid design and assembly


Mersen is more than just an equipment supplier, we have the knowledge and resources to design and construct turn key skid mounted systems for many applications. We also have a successful track record with global references to support it. 

Mersen was deemed a qualified supplier for a new organic, distillation system and was awarded the order for multiple skid mounted distillation columns. This will be Mersen’s first opportunity to supply a skid mounted system in a pharmaceutical industry and look forward to designing more.
